Hardscapes & Patios for Joplin-Area Homes

A good hardscape starts underground. Most patios and walkways that heave, sink or crack in Southwest Missouri were built on too little base, on clay that never drained, or without any thought to where the water goes. We excavate, build a compacted base sized to the job, set grade so water runs away from your house, and only then lay the finished surface.

From a simple paver patio off the back door to a full backyard with a pool deck, brick columns, planting beds and an outdoor fireplace, we handle the masonry, the concrete and the landscaping so you deal with one crew from start to finish.

Serving: Joplin, Webb City, Carthage, Carl Junction, Neosho, Duenweg and the Four State Area of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. See all service areas.

FAQ

Hardscapes & Patios: Common Questions

Have a question that is not here? Call (417) 438-4330.

Pavers, natural stone or concrete: which is best for a patio?

It depends on budget, look and use. Poured concrete is usually the most economical. Pavers handle freeze-thaw well and individual pieces can be lifted and reset. Natural stone has the most character. We will walk the site with you and show you samples before you decide.

How long does a patio project take?

Most residential patios take a few days to a couple of weeks depending on size, access and weather. We give you a schedule with your estimate and keep you updated if rain moves anything.

Can you build around an existing pool or deck?

Yes. We regularly tie new hardscape into existing pools, decks, fences and foundations, and plan the grading so water drains away from all of them.
